Storeys celebrate 50 years
On Jan. 21, 2012, Vernon and Barbara Storey celebrated their 50th anniversary. They renewed their vows in a wedding ceremony at Aiken First Assembly of God Church on Croft Mill Road, performed by Anson Harding.
The bride was regiven in marriage by her daughters, Ann Storey and Barbie Oxendine.
Their grandson Josh Oxendine was best man. Groomsmen were grandson Jayson Oxendine and great-grandson Jesse Jasmin.
Matron of Honor was Elizabeth Finkeldey, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Linda Boatwright and Nita Smith.
Ringbearers were great-grandsons Jacob Jasmin and Tony Ray Harms.
Flower girl was great-granddaughter Kaylee Elizabeth Oxendine. She rode in a wagon pulled by granddaughters Alicia Renew and Amanda Oxendine.
Photography and cake were by granddaughter Amber Moody.
The ceremony was followed by a dinner at the church.
The couple will be going on a trip to the mountains.
