Artists Guild offers painting classes
The North Augusta Artists Guild will offer three step-by-step acrylic painting classes at the North Augusta Community Center on three consecutive Wednesdays in March.
From 10 a.m. to noon, students of all levels will follow Sharon Taylor Padgett in a landscape scene that includes the South Carolina state tree on March 7, a seascape on March 14 and a flower and fruit still-life on March 21.
All materials are provided, and students will complete an 11-by-14-inch canvas with acrylic paint, learning techniques of mixing colors and what brushes to use to achieve good results.
The cost is $40 per person per class for North Augusta Artists Guild members. For non-Guild members the cost is $50 per class.
