Camellia show is Saturday in Aiken

The Aiken Camellia Society will host its 61st annual Camellia Show on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 3 to 8 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 22, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Aiken Mall.
Any camellia grower may exhibit in several categories. There are classes for camellias grown in the open and grown with man-made protection. The classes include japonica, reticulata or reticulata hybrids or non-reticulata hybrids, miniatures and collections of three blooms of the same variety or five blooms of different varieties. There are novice clases for anyone who has not won a major award in the past.
Blooms may be entered from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21.
