Dolphin days
Super! Fantastic! Amazing!
These are words that describe fourth grade this year. It has been a fun year so far. I have learned so much from my teacher, and have learned to be organized when we switch classes. This also means we have two teachers who love us. I really enjoy projects. In Mrs. Simpson's class, we are building our own biome. I chose the tropical rain forest because there are so many animals that live there. In Mrs. Meyer's class, we also have projects to complete. My favorite has been our fable journal. We read all kinds of fables, and then had to apply the moral to our everyday lives. I think Mrs. Meyer was trying to teach us some life lessons.
I think I have the best class ever because we are like one big happy family. I have made some lasting friendships since being in the third grade, and lucky for me, they are in my homeroom. At recess, we make up dances. Just the other day, we made up a new dance and performed it for our audience. I also like to hang out with classmates over the weekend. Our class is just like a family because when working in groups, it can be fun yet challenging because not everyone agrees, but everyone works together.
Another reason I can say my year has been so amazing is because of my teacher, Mrs. Meyer. She is my favorite teacher. She is nice, sweet, generous and always understanding. I was so happy to have her in third grade and then again when she moved to the fourth grade. I remember when the whole class helped her move her things to our new classroom. I'm so glad she is my teacher again because I love her so much! I hope kids all over the world get to have a teacher like mine and get to meet my amazing classmates.
