St. John Towers recognized
St. John Towers, a HUD-supported retirement community in Augusta and an affiliate of Wesley Woods Senior Living, received the Best Elderly Property in Georgia award from the Georgia HAP (Housing Assistance Program) Administrators, Inc., in recognition of outstanding efforts in providing superior affordable housing.
The award was made at the annual meeting of the Southeast Affordable Housing Management Association in Atlanta.
St. John Towers is one of over 300 properties in Georgia eligible for the award.
The selection is based upon measureable criteria including effective administration, maintenance practices and customer satisfaction.
The facility serves 265 senior citizens (age 62 or older) with services that include housing, meals, activities and wellness.
