Put on your spurs for Wild Turkey banquet

Michael Waddell, spokesperson for National Wild Turkey Federation, knows that he likes to have fun and that's exactly what he and everyone else are in for at the National Wild Turkey Federation's (NWTF) Edgefield Chapter banquet on Nov. 19.

Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Old Kendall Mill, located at 560 Norris St., and the event will feature door prizes, raffles, both a live and silent auction, catered barbecue and photo opportunities with Waddell. The family event will also have a kids zone with video games and more.

Since the event's theme is "Wild West Night," attendees are encouraged to wear their boots, spurs and cowboy hats. Tickets are $50 for adults, $80 for couples, $20 for youth ages 6 to 17, and kids 5 and under are free. Tickets include dinner, entry into all door prize drawings, an NWTF membership and a one-year subscription to Turkey Country magazine. Attendees that purchase tickets by Nov. 6, will automatically be entered into the "Early Bird" drawing for a Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic .22 caliber rifle.
