Fox Creek ends season with win

Aaron Walker, backup quarterback for Fox Creek High School, helped the Predators end their season on a winning note Friday, as Fox Creek collected its first-ever football win against Ridge Spring-Monetta.

The game, on the Trojans' home turf, included 15 carries and 110 yards for Walker, who also connected on seven of 12 passing attempts for 75 more yards. The mix racked up three touchdowns in all. Fox Creek's other score came via a 38-yard pass from Marty Williams to Trevante Robinson. Williams was forced to leave the game in the second quarter after an ejection by officials, and Walker stepped up to fill the gap.

Fox Creek, ending football season on a "W" for the first time, wound up with a record of 2-8 overall and 2-5 in region play. The Trojans, who led 15-13 at halftime, also ended their season with records of 2-8 and 2-5.
