North Augusta bounces back from first loss with big night against O-W
North Augusta didn't let its first loss of the season last week bother it. The Yellow Jackets scored on their first possession of Friday night's game and went on to a 41-7 win over Orangeburg-Wilkinson on homecoming.
Quarterback Loranzo Hammonds produced his usual fireworks, tossing four touchdown passes and rushing for 61 yards on just 10 carries to help his Jackets improve to 7-1 overall and 3-1 in Region 5-AAAA action. North Augusta scored 14 points in the opening quarter to take the early advantage and by the end of the third, it had put the game away, leading 41-0.
