Doolittle-Willis engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Warren T. Doolittle of Modoc announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Amanda Carolyn Doolittle, to Mr. Otis Andrew "Andy" Willis of Edgefield.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Doolittle of Edgefield, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Plunkett of Aiken. She is a 2002 graduate of Aquinas High School, Augusta, Ga., and a 2009 graduate of Lander University, Greenwood, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently employed at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood.
The groom-elect is the son of Donna Willis of Parksville and Frankie Willis of Plum Branch. He is the grandson of Betty Jo Jackson of Crestview, Fla., William "Harry" Willis of Plum Branch and Betty Jean Thurmond, also of Plum Branch. He is a 2001 graduate of Long Cane Academy, McCormick. He is currently employed with Hodges Pulpwood, McCormick.
The couple will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Telfair Street, Augusta, Ga., on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at 1 p.m.
