Gibson-Hiott engagement

Mr. Stephen Gibson of Walhalla and Ms. Lisa Coker of Seneca announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Lauren Britton Gibson of Greenwood, to Mr. James Edward Hiott III (Trey), also of Greenwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hiott Jr. of North Augusta.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Seneca High School and a 2008 graduate of Lander University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education. She is employed at Learning Vine in Greenwood.
The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of North Augusta High School and a 2006 graduate of Lander University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science. He is employed by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control in Edgefield.
The couple will exchange vows on May 9, 2009, in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at the home of the groom's grandparents in Edisto Beach.
