Happy Fall, Y'all
I can definitely find something special about each season; however, fall is my favorite. Fall always reminds me of cheerleading, which I love to do. Also, how about those good ol' Friday night football games at the high school?
I also look forward to the cooler weather and a drive to the mountains to see the changing leaves (I think my parents enjoy the leaves more than I do, but it is still fun going). Going to the fair is also lots of fun: cotton candy, funnel cakes and candy apples. However, if Dr. Andrews, my orthodontist, is reading this I will not be eating any candy apples this year.
Other things I look forward to are Thanksgiving and going shopping the day after. Two years ago, we were in Nashville and when the stores opened at 12 a.m. we were there.
At Hammond Hill, fall means the HHE Carnival, pep squad try outs, and the incredible book fair that Mrs. Criss and Mrs. Smiley have in the library. We also have our upcoming character parade and Veterans Day to look forward to. I am very appreciative of Veterans Day because my great-grandfather was killed in WWII and this is a great way to remember him and all the soldiers who keep us safe every day.
We have a lot of fun things going on here in North Augusta and at Hammond Hill this fall. Happy Fall Y'all!
