Fairview Early Childhood Center is currently registering students in the 3K, 4K and 5K programs at Fairview Presbyterian Church for the 2009-2010 school year.

Valentine dinner at OLP
Our Lady of Peace will host a Valentine's Day dinner and dance this Friday, Feb. 13, from 6 p.m. until midnight in Murphy Hall.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under).
Childcare will be provided in the youth center with activities for children 12 and under.
All proceeds will benefit the high school youth ministry.
Men's Ministry meeting
A Men's Ministry meeting will be held Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Greene Street Presbyterian Church.
Fairview Presbyterian Church's Morning Watch Worship Team will lead the service.

Senior adult luncheon
The senior adult fellowship luncheon at First Baptist Church, North Augusta, will be held Sunday, Feb. 15, at 12:15 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
Each attendee is asked to bring a large side dish to share (vegetable, salad or dessert).
The meat and drink will be provided.

Confirmation at St. Bart's
On Feb.15 Bishop Dorsey Henderson of the Diocese of Upper South Carolina will visit St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church to conduct confirmation.
There will be a breakfast reception at 10:15 a.m. with muffins, cake, donuts, coffee, juice, and milk for all.
Bishop Henderson will retire by Dec. 31, 2009. or when the new bishop is elected, so this is likely his last confirmation service at St. Bart's.
Family Friends Day at Hammond Grove
Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry will host its annual Family and Friends Day program Sunday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m.
The speaker will be the Rev. Melvin Gordon of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Plum Branch.

'Chicks Unmasked'
TrueNorth is hosting a "Chicks Unmasked" winter retreat on Feb. 20-21 at the Marriott Hotel in Augusta.
Vonda Skelton will speak on "The Lies Women Believe" and help folks figure out how to live out their testimonies.

Dress-up tea for preschoolers
First Baptist Church will host a preschool dress-up tea party for girls only on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon.
To be held in the Children's Learning Center, the tea is open to preschoolers ages 2 to 5 years old.
Young ladies are invited to dress in their best dress-up clothes and to bring their mom or grandma.
A reservation is asked by Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Pizza, cookies for a good cause
Joe Corbi's Pizza and Grandma Corbi's cookies are on sale at Grace United Methodist Church through Feb. 15.
The proceeds will benefit the Bolivia Construction Mission trip.

Mardi Gras at Fairview
Fairview Fellowship will hold a Mardi Gras Evening on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Dinner will include gumbo, shrimp creole and bread pudding prepared by Hank McKenney, Carol and bob Clark and Jean and Skip Jones.

'Love Lunch' at Holy Trinity
The Christian education and parish life committees at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will host a "Love Lunch" on Sunday, Feb. 15, after the church's morning worship.
Corsages and boutonnieres will be sold for a minimal charge and the proceeds going to Lutheran World Missions.
The Christian education committee will make candy grams to be delivered after the meal.
Meat and beverages will be provided by the host organizations. Sides, salads and desserts will be covered dishes brought by members of the congregation.

Looking for dramatic youth
The Grace United Methodist Church' youth drama team will present "Fiddler on the Roof" as the group's spring production. Needed are help with costumes, props, sets, stage management, technical support, lights.
Youth from sixth through 12th grade are invited to participate.

Begin marriage on the right foot
Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene will hold a teaching conference for couples "seriously dating, engaged or married for less than three years" on Sunday, Feb.22, from 4-7 p.m.
The cost is $10 per couple and includes light meal, conference notebook, coupons, gifts, door prizes, 4 short teaching sessions, and interaction with a panel of several couples married for many years.
This conference counts as pre-marital counseling in South Carolina.

Shrove Tuesday pancake supper
The Episcopal Church of the Ridge will host a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Trinity Parish Hall in Edgefield.
Admission is $3 per person and carry-out plates will be available.
Scholarship applications being taken
Applications are now being accepted for the Robin Johnston Scholarship. Forms are available at Fairview Presbyterian Church.
The deadline for submission is March 1.
They may be returned to the church office.
