Juanita Elizabeth Buchan Sherrill
Mrs. Juanita Elizabeth Buchan Sherrill, 81, entered into rest Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
Her graveside service was held Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Pineview Memorial Park with the Rev. C.L. O'Brien officiating.
She was born in North Carolina but was a native of North Augusta.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Lisa Buchan Haverlock and Marc A. Buchan; a daughter-in-law, Deborah S. Buchan; and three great-grandchildren, Kayla Ann, Chelsea Marie and Brianna Nicole. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Buchan Jr.; mother, Minnie Elizabeth Blum; three brothers, Jasper Stephens, Bob Stephens and Donald Stephens; and sister, Shirley Stephens Griggs.
The family received friends at the funeral home Saturday prior to the service.

John H. Duncan
Mr. John Howard Duncan, of Hillwood Court, North Augusta, entered into rest Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.
A memorial service was to be held Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Peter Letchford and Brian LaFavor officiating. The family was to receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
Mr. Duncan was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Augusta and a member of the Trinity Bible Class. He was a military veteran of 16 years, serving in Germany, Vietnam, Guam and Korea as a military intelligence specialist.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Maxine Toole Duncan; his children, Shana K. Williams of Birmingham, Ala., Misty June LaFavor and husband Brian of Augusta, Ga., Bradley J. Duncan of Montgomery, Ala., and Tina M. Faulkner of Conway, Ariz.; his brother, Rodger W. Duncan; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and John's special friends, Marc and Connie Toole, Niles and Jenny Toole, Dow and Trish Toole and David Toole.

Eleanor R. Steinel
Memorial services for Mrs. Eleanor R. Steinel, 90, of St. John Towers, Augusta, Ga., who entered into rest Oct. 25, 2009, were conducted Tuesday at the Christ Church Presbyterian with Dr. W. Duncan Rankin officiating. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Steinel was a native of Chicago, Ill., and a former resident of Daytona Beach, Fla., having moved to Augusta seven years ago to be near her daughter and family. She was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian and a homemaker. Mrs. Steinel was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Mr. Elmer E. Steinel.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jack Herrmann of North Augusta; two grandchildren, Erik Herrmann (Paola) of Tampa, Fla., and Tara Drew (Brandon) of Atlanta, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Zakary Herrmann, Patrick Drew and Matthew Herrmann.
The family received friends at the church following the service.

Robert E. Aube
Mr. Robert E. Aube, 81, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, of natural causes at Ralf Johnson Memorial V.A. Hospital in Charleston.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Rowland Funeral Home Chapel and will be officiated by the Rev. Sheryl Padgett of Christ Unity Church.
Mr. Aube was born in Westbrook, Maine, to Philippe and Irene Aube. He was a resident of North Augusta since 1979 with his wife, Ethel M. Aube, who passed away in May 2006. Mr. Aube was a retired Air Force MSGT/E-7, who served in Korea and three tours in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. He was a beloved father and member of the Belvedere Masonic Lodge 388.
Mr. Aube is survived by his sons, James A. Aube of Atlanta, Ga., and Robin L. Aube of Myrtle Beach; and two sisters, Janet Carrier of Westbrook, Maine, and Irene Paterson of Lewiston, Maine.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009 following the service until 4 p.m.

Bobbie Tweed Wolfe
Graveside services for Mrs. Bobbie Tweed Wolfe, 82, formerly of Augusta, who entered into rest Oct. 23, 2009, were conducted Tuesday afternoon in Westview Cemetery, Mitchell, Ga. with the Rev. Robert Riley officiating.
Mrs. Wolfe was a native of Murphy, N.C., a long-time resident of Augusta, having recently lived in Mitchell, Ga.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Rosemary and Troy Robinson of Mitchell, Ga., and Betty Louise Bicknell of Thomson, Ga.; six grandchildren, Gary W. Randolph, Bradley T.S. Randolph (Nicole), Billy Jack Clements (Courtney), Josh D. Clements, Miranda Barker and Jill Morgensen (Michael); several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband, Marion T. "Billy" Wolfe.
The family received friends at the cemetery following the service.

Jean A. Reiter
Memorial services for Mrs. Jean A. Reiter, 48, of Fairwood Avenue, North Augusta, who entered into rest Oct. 26, 2009, will be conducted Thursday at five p.m. at the Posey Funeral Chapel with Deacon Bob Hookness officiating. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Reiter was a native of Queens, N.Y., having resided in North Augusta for the past 22 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Ted Reiter of North Augusta; two sons, Stephen Reiter of North Augusta and Nicholas Reiter of Fort Sill, Okla.; one daughter, Angela Reiter of North Augusta.
