Elizabeth R. DeGennaro
Graveside services for Mrs. Elizabeth Reese DeGennaro, 91, of North Augusta, who entered into rest Feb. 25, 2010, were conducted Sunday afternoon in Pineview Memorial Park.
Mrs. DeGennaro was a native of Augusta, Ga., having made North Augusta her home for the past 63 years. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Kmart. Mrs. DeGennaro was the wife of the late Michael A. DeGennaro and mother of the late Thomas A. DeGennaro.
Survivors include a two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jean DeGennaro of Monroe, La., and Paul and Debi DeGennaro of North Augusta; a daughter-in-law, Mickie DeGennaro of North Augusta; a sister, Estelle Kitchens of Lake Alfred, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Ashley Poteet, Brent DeGennaro, Courtney DeGennaro, Thomas P. DeGennaro, Michael DeGennaro, Adriane Hebert and Jennifer Mullis; 11 great-grandchildren.
The family expresses deep appreciation to the nurses and caregivers of National Healthcare for the loving care given to their mother.
The family received friends at the funeral home Saturday evening. The family was at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Paul DeGennaro, 114 Fox Trail Drive, North Augusta.

Ophelia M. Witt
Memorial services for Mrs. Ophelia M. Witt, 84, of Murrow Street, Blythe, Ga., who entered into rest Feb. 22, 2010, were conducted Thursday morning at the Posey Funeral Chapel with Dr. Earl Richards and Pastor BJ Boles officiating.
Mrs. Witt was a native of Haleyville, Ala., having made Augusta her home for the past 65 years. She was a member of the Church of God and a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Witt was predeceased by her husband, Leonard T. Witt; a son, Leonard T. Witt Jr.; and two grandsons, Leslie James Chester and Troy John Williams.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Saxon of Augusta, Jerry Reeves of Blythe, Louise Shaw of Athens, Ga., and Wanda Kimberly of Evans; eight grandchildren, Lemuel James Chester, Robert Terrell Allen, Michael Jason Allen, Anna Maria Reeves, Tommy Kimbrell, Jennifer Johnson, Carlie Amanda Shaw and Carson Shaw; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Kimbrell and Wesley Kimbrell.
The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The family was at the residence of Jennifer Johnson, 801 Brooks Drive, North Augusta.

Sharon G. Hilbert
Graveside services for Mrs. Sharon Gray Clifford Hilbert, 68, of Parliament Lane, Martinez, Ga., who entered into rest Feb. 23, 2010, and reunited with her husband, were conducted Saturday afternoon in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hilbert was a native of Lexington, Ky., having made Martinez her home for the past 25 years. She was a member of the Stevens Creek Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a retired licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Hilbert was a loving mother and the wife of the late Mr. David R. Hilbert Jr.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tim Hutchens and Jeff and Paula Hutchens, all of Kentucky; two daughters and a son-in-law, Amy L.H. and Kenneth Williams of Martinez and Robin G. Dixon of Ohio; a brother, Jimmy Clifford of Lexington, Ky.; a sister, Becky Wise of Florida; five grandchildren.

Helen D. Tabor
Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Duncan Tabor, 78, of Audubon Circle, Belvedere, who entered into rest Feb. 23, 2010, were conducted Friday morning at the Posey Funeral Chapel with Father David F.O. Thompson officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Tabor was a native of Aiken County, having made Belvedere her home for the past 58 years. She was a member of St John's Episcopal Church of Clearwater, retired from Dawson, Taylor & Sherman Insurance Company with 20 years of service and a member of the Insurance Women of Augusta. Mrs. Tabor was the wife of the late Harold W. Tabor.
Survivors include her daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie and Junior Lamb of Belvedere, and DeLaine Johnson of Evans; four grandchildren, Cheryl Davis, Lisa Davis, Megan Johnson and Phillip Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Kathryn Davis, Cameron Davis and Emily Davis.
Pallbearers were David Davis, Jason Davis, James A. Epps Jr., Richard A. Epps, David Epps and Jeffery W. Wheeler Jr.
The family received friends at the funeral home last Thursday evening. The family was at the residence.

Lillian H. Herrmann
Mrs. Lillian H. Herrmann, 85, of St. John's Towers, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Feb. 25, 2010. Private family services will be conducted.
Mrs. Herrmann was a native of Philadelphia, Penn., and a former 50-year resident of Satellite Beach, Fla., having made the Augusta area her home for the past nine years. She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, a former employee of North America Rockwell Corporation at Cape Canaveral, Fla., and a retired comptroller with U.S. Games. Mrs. Herrmann was the wife of the late Harry O. Herrmann Sr.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Linda Herrmann and Harry and Rosie Herrmann, all of North Augusta; a sister, Mildred Beisel of Philadelphia, Penn.; four grandchildren, Erik Herrmann, Tara Drew, Cheryl Bruno and Mark Herrmann; five great-grandchildren.
