Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee takes it to the river

The 2009 Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee will bring many of the same Halloween activities to North Augusta but in a new location this year.

Saturday, Oct. 31, Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.

There will be the usual games, rides, food and crafts, live entertainment and even the children's contest.

But this year the fun has been moved from Georgia Avenue to Boeckh Park in Hammond's Ferry.

The new location will add the opportunity to check out the Greeneway or watch the action on the river or perhaps even take part in some of the activities on the Savannah.
