New phone book to feature pavilion at Brick Pond Park

The new Brick Pond Park is making a splash in more places than down by the river.
The pavilion at the new North Augusta park will soon be seen in thousands of area homes. That's because the Brick Pond Park pavilion is the cover of the new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directories for local subscribers.
The pavilion provides an opportunity to view the 30-acre wetland and wildlife habitat and learn about area plants, wildlife and history. The 480-square-foot structure was designed by Tom Zeaser, Director of Engineering for North Augusta, and was constructed in 2008 with yellow and white pine by the city streets and drains staff. There are two benches where visitors can sit and watch turtles, alligators, white-tailed deer or the many wading birds that frequent the east ponds of Brick Pond Park.
The coverage area of the phone book includes Aiken, Bath, Beech Island, Graniteville and Jackson, plus Appling, Harlem and Hephzibah, Ga. More than 22,000 copies of the directory have been produced for distribution in the area. Delivery of the directory started June 26 and ends July 23. The directory will also be available to new residents and businesses throughout the year.
"We are proud to feature the Brick Pond Park Pavilion on the cover of our new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directory for the North Augusta area," said Paula Lynch, area marketing manager, AT&T Advertising Solutions. "We continually work to make our directory covers special on the outside, and tailor the community information inside our directories to best meet the needs of local residents and businesses."
"We're delighted the Brick Pond Park Pavilion is on the new directory covers," said Tanya Strickland, environmental City of North Augusta. "As people reach for the AT&T Real Yellow Pages they'll be reminded all year long of this wonderful facility and all it has to offer."
As new books are delivered, North Augusta-area businesses and residents are being encouraged to recycle their outdated directories. Residents and businesses can call (800) 953-4400 for directory recycling information in this community.
