Edgefield bus driver of the year
The Edgefield County Transportation Department held the year-end banquet at Old McDonald's Fish Camp to honor transportation employeesof the 2008-2009 school year. The highlight of the evening was Angela Griffin, shown at left with Transportation Supervisor Tanja Bryan, being announced as the Bus Driver of the Year. Also recognized were the Bus Drivers with fourth quarter perfect attendance, Denise Cobb, Paris Cothran, Leona Culbreath, Gloria Curry, Patricia Garrett, Brenda Gilliam, Brenda Gordon, Avis Griffin, John Henry Jackson, Cleophus Langford, Karen Malone, Mary Tillman, Lizzie Turner, Debra Williams and Catherine Wooten. Paris Cothran was Bus Driver of the quarter for fourth quarter.
