Chaplain's corner: Love endures

At the joyful rehearsal dinner, the father of the groom radiated feeling and conviction as he stated three necessary ingredients for building and maintaining healthy relationships: a good heart, a strong will and a strong love. In a concise manner, he painted a picture of one who leads with his or her heart while embracing the absolute necessity for determination and vigorous love.

Passivity and indifference find no haven or comfort in this excellent blueprint for sustaining the bonds of marriage, family and friends. "Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance" (I Corinthians 13:7).
