Gentle Power
A friend told me about her father's preparation for building an open-air worship center at a family camp in the mountains. In order to ascertain which directions the wind currents typically flowed, he went to the proposed construction site at various times over a period of several days. His research guided him to orient the building in specific ways so that worshippers would have the optimum chance to enjoy the moderate breezes. This man's careful and thoughtful planning has enabled thousands to experience the gentle power of the airstreams. "Blessed are the gentle for they shall inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5).
