Wrinkles

Statements received in the past two weeks included taxes and fees that could have been better used to buy groceries for two weeks. So Wrinkles was delighted to hear that Democrats in the South Carolina House will push this year for tax credits for alternative energy and an openness in fee increases. We would prefer eliminating any and all fee increases. A plus would be that any agency fee increase should be approved by not only the legislators but by the voters. Let your voice be heard by calling your legislators.
Have you ever been hurt by words spoken by a friend? Don't know who said this, but it's worth repeating: When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone, where no wind can ever erase it. Let's learn to write our hurts in the sand and carve our benefits in stone.
Everyone needs a laugh ... and I think you will enjoy this one.
An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening of church services when an intruder startled her. She caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables and yelled, "Stop! Acts 2:38" (Repent and be baptized, every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.) The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done. As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar, "Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture at you." "Scripture?" replied the burglar. "She said she had an Ax and Two 38's!"
Knowing scripture can save your life in more ways than one.

God whispers in your soul and speaks to your mind. Sometimes when you don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at you. It's your choice: Listen to the whisper, or wait for the brick.
"I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye".
