Staff reports
The Aiken area was loaded with big games and big performances this week. Narrowing the game ball list down to five wasn't an easy task. After careful evaluation, though, here is the Aiken Standard's list of the top performers of Week 10 of the high school football season.

Aaron Walker, Fox Creek

Walker led the Predators to a season-ending win over Ridge Spring-Monetta by throwing for 75 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 110 yards and two more scores, emerging as a consistent source of offense.

Trevian Davis, Wagener-Salley

The War Eagles finished their winless season, falling to North on Friday. But Davis did all he could to keep the team from suffering that fate. He rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns, averaging nearly seven yards per carry.

Kendric Salley, Williston-Elko

Salley had his usual big night against rival Blackville-Hilda, rushing for 190 yards to help the Blue Devils finish off a perfect regular season and avenge Williston-Elko's only loss of last year's regular season.

Loranzo Hammonds, North Augusta

Hammonds threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 60 more yards to help lead the Yellow Jackets to a comeback region win on the road at Lexington.

Aubrey Johnson, Aiken

Facing a must-win situation at home against Dutch Fork, Aiken's star running back rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Hornets to their second consecutive victory following a six-game losing streak.
