CAMDEN -- The South Aiken Thoroughbreds played the Camden High School Bulldogs in a first-round, 3A playoff game. Camden prevailed on this cool night, 38-14.

Thurmond wins without its quarterback

JOHNSTON -- The Strom Thurmond Rebels handled the Eau Claire Shamrocks in the opening round of the Class AA Upper State Playoffs 43-7.
In a game marred by penalties and turnovers by both teams, the Rebels were able to move the ball on the ground with Nick Williamson and Desmond Davis. Williamson had 73 yards on 13 carries and three touchdowns. Davis, who started at quarterback for Raleigh Yeldell, ran for two scores.

The Williston-Elko Blue Devils defeated the Great Falls Red Devils 24-0 Friday night in the opening round of the Class A playoffs.
Williston-Elko, in typical Blue Devil fashion, scored quickly on its first possession. Dexter Staley returned the opening kickoff to the Great Falls 47-yard line.
