Curfew is a cause to leave
Mike Hunt is going to put a curfew on the County. What do you think this is going to do? It's only going to drive the children to Augusta and Columbia where there is no curfew. They are putting a bunch of effort into nothing. If my child is going to go somewhere else, I'm going to have to move.
Spankings will solve the problem
Parents would be more apt to control their children if people who saw children get spanked wouldn't call DSS every time the child is spanked. Then we wouldn't have a problem with unruly children.
'Tacky' lit having opposite effect
I do not appreciate the anti-GVW gang putting their literature on my mailbox with their tacky duct tape. I will decide my position based on the issues and their scare tactics and irresponsible actions are making me lean toward voting "Yes."
How about some public transit?
Wouldn't it be great if the City of Aiken would structure the Best Friend Express to accommodate more people and not just the retired and the unemployed? I'm sure if there were standard routes about town and bus stops at various places, more people would use those buses. Why not try to accommodate people who work? With the price of gas these days, isn't that something that would be a good thing for all the residents of Aiken?
Coyotes are a menace for family
Coyotes most certainly are a problem for my family. On two different occasions within the past year, coyotes have come into our yard and killed our pets. We can no longer have pets outdoors. I am also frequently awakened at night by the sound of coyotes howling. The coyotes near our home have had quite a negative impact on the lives of my children and I.
That's the killers, not the squirrels
I think it's a shame that people would kill squirrels. I raise squirrels. Wait until they face God. They will be judged.
