Robert O. Rehn

Mr. Robert O. Rehn, 80, of Aiken, son of the late Erwin Rehn and the late Garnet Williams Rehn Kaiser, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, with his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Ann Rehn, at his side.

Born in and a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, most of his life, Bob retired as a State Farm Insurance agent after 30 years of service. He and Ann had lived in Jacksboro, Tenn., for eight years prior to relocating to Aiken 10 years ago, where they became members of St. John's United Methodist Church. Prior to his health declining, he was active in the Augusta Parkinson's Support Group.

In addition to his wife, family members include his children, Robert E. Rehn (Judy) of Novi, Mich., Michael J. Rehn (Barbara) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Marysue Rehn-Bostle (Jack) of Cincinnati, Ohio; stepson, Tom Williams (Rita) of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and his beloved four-legged children, Muffin, Tiffany, Lilli and Jake.

At his request, Bob will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of St. John's United Methodist Church, Aiken, with Dr. George K. Howle officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Cincinnati, Ohio.

The family has asked that, if so desired, memorials in memory of Bob be made to Regency Hospice in Aiken, the Parkinson's Support Group in Augusta or St. John's United Methodist Church in Aiken.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.
