Jimmy F. Jackson

LANGLEY -- Mr. Jimmy F. Jackson, 43, of Langley, husband of Susie Williams Jackson and son of Myrtis Jackson White, Langley, and the late Wyman Raymond Jackson Sr., died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009.

Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, Jimmy was a self-employed mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to wife and mother family members include his children, Jimmy F. Jackson Jr. of Augusta, Carolyn Diane Jackson of Grovetown, Ga., and Crystal Marie Jackson of Augusta; siblings, Wyman Raymond Jackson Jr. of Langley, David Anthony Jackson (Kristina) of Augusta, Catherine Jackson of Langley, Sylvia Moore (Wade) of Blythe, Ga., LaWanda Sellers (Charles Sr.) of Langley, Betty Walker (Joe Sr.) of Lincolnton, Ga., and Janice Bussell (Michael) of Langley; grandchildren, Andrew Boyd, Barrett Brown, Kaden Brown, Americus Hobbs and Savannah Jackson; and his beloved four-legged child, Bear.

At his request, Jimmy will be cremated, and a graveside service will be held at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath.

The family has asked that, if so desired, memorials in memory of Jimmy be made to a fund that will be set up to offset the chemotherapy cost of his sister, Catherine. Friends may call at the family home.

The family will greet friends Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, U.S. Highway 1, Langley.
