Aiken Standard - John Lever Barrs

WARRENVILLE -- Entered into rest on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, Mr. John Lever Barrs, 68, of Warrenville, son of the late Frank Lever Barrs and the late Sallie Mitchum Barrs. He is survived by a brother, Ralph (Julie) Barrs of Florida; sisters, Patricia Colson of Florida and Katie B. (Willie) Rogers of Mississippi; two special nieces, Sallie Angeley and Marie Morgan, both of Warrenville; and two nephews. He was born in Aiken County and had been a resident of the local area for the past 20 years; prior to that, he lived in Florida. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was of the Baptist faith. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, with Rev. Gene Wilson officiating. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville
