Bruster's supports local SPCA
Bruster's Ice Cream will play host to a pair of "dog washes" in the days ahead, with all proceeds going to benefit the animals at the Aiken Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The August event will be Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prices are $20 for pooches under 30 pounds, $25 for 20-100 pounds and $30 for over 100 pounds. Services can also be provided individually - a wash for $15, nail trimming for $10 and ear-washing for $8.
Another Aiken SPCA event, with the same hours, will be Sept. 25. The eatery is at 1279 Knox Avenue. Details are at 648-6863.
