Aiken Standard - Herbert P. Williams

EDGEFIELD -- Entered into rest on Friday, July 24, 2009, Herbert P. Williams of Edgefield, husband of Wanda Colyer Williams and son of the late Bud Williams and the late Novie Randall Williams Murray. In addition to his wife, he is survived by brothers, Charles Cook of Georgia, Bobby Murray of North Augusta and Sonny Campbell of Aiken; a sister, Tammy Cook of Aiken and a stepgranddaughter, Haley Payton. He was retired from Holley Tractor in Aiken. A graveside service will be conducted today, Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Vaucluse Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Hutto officiating. The family will receive friends today from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Napier Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations, in Mr. Williams honor, be made to Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 to assist with the funeral expenses.
