Gunmen rob Kangaroo Express

Police are searching for two men who robbed The Kangaroo Express at 349 Edgefield Road in North Augusta Thursday night.

About 10:30 p.m., two men walked into the store, pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money, according to a news release from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

The cashier gave one of the suspects money from the register and the second suspect grabbed several cigars and placed them in a black bag.

The suspects ran from the store down a nearby street.

The suspects were described as black males dressed in all black clothing, black gloves, black ski masks and bandanas. One suspect is described as between 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inches tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds and between 20 and 25 years old.

The second suspects was described as between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office Tracking Team responded and searched the area.

Callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of between $50 and $1,000.
