Aiken Standard - Sidney B. Jones

WAGENER -- Sidney Bernard Jones, 42, of 213 Church St., Wagener, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at his residence. Born in Wagener, he was the son of Sidney B. and Julia Rowe Jones. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and had attended Wagener-Salley High of Wagener.

Jones is survived by his parents, Sidney B. and Julia Rowe Jones of Wagener; brothers, Steffion Jones, Stanley Jones and Gregory Jones, all of Wagener; sisters, Dora J. Schofield of Perry and Felecia M. Jones of Wagener.

Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Leesville. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Dennis Jackson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Fleming Schofield, at 254 Sigma St. S.E., Perry. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home from 3 to 8 p.m.
