Ernest Philbeck
YORK -- Ernest Lee Philbeck, 59, of 1311 Philbeck Road, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Union Baptist Church. Pastor Paul Willey will be officiating. Burial will be at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of York, Ernest was a son of the late Boyce Lee Philbeck and Marjorie Bryant Philbeck of York. He was a member of Union Baptist Church. Ernest was a peach and cattle farmer; he also was a salesman for Smoaks Auto in York. Ernest loved to fish, play golf and sing. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Ernest was also a member of the American Legion Post 34.
He is survived by his mother, Marjorie B. Philbeck of York; two sons, Travis Philbeck and Jarrett Philbeck, both of Calhoun Falls; two brothers, Eddie Philbeck of York and Donald Philbeck of Aiken; his sister, Phyllis Philbeck Hardin of Mt. Pleasant; his nephews, Danny, Ross, Cameron and Barry Philbeck; and his nieces, Katie, Piper and Marjae Hardin.
Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Bratton Funeral Home in York is serving the Philbeck family.
