Allison Nicole Miller of Aiken and Chad Marion Cooper of Aiken were married May 17, 2008, in St. Paul United Methodist Church, New Ellenton. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Brian Gilmer officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Gary and Lisa Miller of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Ms. June Black and Mr. and Mrs. John Black and Ms. Nancy Miller and the late Sherrill Miller.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Blanchard Cooper of Salley. He is a grandson of Ms. Ruby Hutto and the late Marion Hutto and the late Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Cooper.
Samantha Hughes of Aiken was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Natalie Johnson of Aiken, sister of the bride, and Whitney Miller of Aiken, sister of the bride. Honorary bridesmaids were Brittany Lindsay and Krystle Duckett, high school friends of the bride, and Brandy Smalley, Sarah Fender and Olivia Padgett, sorority sisters of the bride.
Blanchard Cooper of Salley was the best man. Groomsmen were David Cooper of Columbia, brother of the groom, and Stephen Hutto of Lexington, cousin of the groom.
Kyle Johnson of Aiken, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer.
Bella Black of New Ellenton, cousin of the bride, and Kyah Bodiford of Blackville, niece of the groom, were the flower girls.
Following a reception in the Family Life Center, the couple left for a wedding trip to the western Caribbean. They will reside in Aiken.
The bride is a graduate of Silver Bluff High School. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in nursing. She is employed by Aiken Regional Medical Centers and Publix Supermarkets.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Aiken High School. He is employed by AFL Network Services.
