Erin Campbell Montgomery of Aiken and David Martin Busch of Aiken were married May 24, 2008, at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Terry Montgomery. The Rev. Susan Louttit Hardway officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lee Montgomery of Aiken. She is a maternal granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara McQueen of Aiken and the late William H. McQueen and a paternal granddaughter of Mrs. Zelma York of Gastonia, N.C., and the late Herbert H. Montgomery.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen Busch of Aiken. He is a maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Martin of Conway and a paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Busch of Florence.
Miss Amanda Montgomery of Aiken, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ansley Busch of Jacksonville, Fla., sister-in-law of the bride and groom; Miss Kristi Busch of Katy, Texas, cousin of the groom; and Miss Betty Skeen of Aiken, friend of the bride.
Mr. Jim Busch of Jacksonville, Fla., brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Andy DeCamp of Aiken, Mr. Brandon Kearse of Aiken and Mr. Andrew Walker of Aiken, all friends of the groom.
Following a reception at the Aiken City for the Arts, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Bahamas.
They will reside in Clemson.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Aiken High School. She is a December 2006 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in communication studies and a 2008 graduate of Clemson University with a Master of Arts in teaching of middle grades degree. She is employed by the School District of Pickens County as an eighth-grade language arts teacher at Pickens Middle School.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Aiken High School. He is currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering at Clemson University and will graduate in December 2008.
