Police investigate report of shooting

A Teague Street home was reportedly fired into late Wednesday evening.

According to the 84-year-old resident, his wife heard the sound of a window break, but she did not notice any damage until the following morning.

The officer searched the area and found a bullet hole from the window that traveled through two walls near the center of the house and into the master bedroom.

A second bullet went through a front wall, officials said.

Police have not said the motive.
