RIDGE SPRING -- Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Lee Lightsie will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at the Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Simpkins, pastor. Eulogist will be the Rev. William Yarborough. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her devoted daughter, Lucille (John Allen) Rowe of Ridge Spring; four grandchildren, George Mathis of Aiken, Rev. John Allen Rowe Jr., Linda Oliver and Cora Rowe, all of Ridge Spring; great-grandchildren, Leon Rowe of Asheville, N.C., George D. Mathis of Aiken, Coricia Rowe, Ontario Oliver, Eric Rowe and Bernard Rowe, all of Ridge Spring; a great-great-grandchild, Lenozo Rowe of Ridge Spring; aunt, Cora Mathis of Ridge Spring; and a host of other relatives and friends.
