Mrs. Margaret Evelyn Justice, 86, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Amara Health Center, Augusta. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church, Aiken, with the Rev. Douglas Slaughter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens, Aiken. Survivors include two sons, Sylvester Justice III (Alice) and Leroy Taylor (Janette); two brothers, Johnnie Shynett (Anna Bell) and John Mims, both of Beamount, Texas; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the residence of the son, Sylvester Justice III, at 3521 Biltmore Place (Garden Brook Subdivision), Augusta, or call him at (706) 798-6949 or call at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home beginning at 3 p.m. on Monday. The remains will lie in state at the church Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
