WARRENVILLE -- Entered into rest on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, Mr. Michael L. Harris Sr., 56, of Warrenville, beloved husband of Yvonne Brantley Harris and son of the late Thomas N. Harris Sr. and the late Carolyn Delores Owens. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Leslie Newman and Stacey Harris, both of Windsor; sons, Christopher Holsonback of Clearwater and Michael L. Harris Jr. of Warrenville; sisters, Cheryl Chapman of China Grove, N.C., Teresea Campbell and Tina Luke, both of Graniteville; brothers, Milton Harris of Warrenville, Junior Harris of Graniteville, Stanley Harris of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Billy Harris of Ohio; and 12 grandchildren. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a member of the old Congregational Holiness Church, which is now Christian Heritage in Graniteville. He was a commercial construction worker. He was a good husband, father and grandfather and shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Jerry Devilin, Casey Campbell, Thomas Harris, Chad Redd, Bobby Gordon, James Abbey, Stephen Harris and Tony Newman. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, Nov. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Napier Funeral Home. At the family's request, memorials, in Mr. Harris' honor, may be made to Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, SC 29829 to help offset the funeral expense. Napier Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
