Graveside services for Mrs. Roxie Elizabeth Patten Jackson of 532 Hampton Ave., who passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008, will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Jessamine Memorial Gardens with Rev. Richard Martin officiating.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Melinda (Leo) Idehen, Stephanie Patten and her fiancé Victor Murial Jr. and Hester Jackson; five sisters, Thelma Long, Joretha Davis, Myrtis Williams, Annie Watkins and Mary Lee Williams; four brothers, Alvin Patten, Calvin Patten, Edward Patten and Elester Patten; four grandchildren, Adria Patten, Adrian Parker Jr., Nosaze Idehen and Izore Idehen; her aunt, Sarah Martin; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Friends may call at the residence of her sister, Joretha Davis, 1324 Hampton Ave. N.W., or at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 14, 2008, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
