Julia B. Kizer of Aiken and Bobby B. Brown of Augusta were married April 26, 2008, in North Augusta at Lookaway Hall. The bride was given in marriage by Dr. and Mrs. Lee E. Kizer. The Rev. Dr. Lee E. Kizer and Jonathan B. Weigel officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Lee and Janet Kizer of Wagener. She is a granddaughter of Richard and Betty Brown and Lee Kizer and Katherine Gilbert.

The bridegroom is a son of Ralph L. Brown and the late Donna S. Brown of Augusta. He is a grandson of Troy and Mary Hunnicutt and Loren and Velda Brown.

Dorothy S. Weigel of Columbia was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katherine K. Cochran of Portland, Ore., sister of the bride; McKenzie T. Brown of Augusta, daughter of the groom; Melissa S. Logan of Columbia, friend of the bride; Jacquelyn C. Kane of Aiken, friend of the bride; and Caroline E. Huxtable of Seattle, Wash., friend of the bride.

A. Donald Boyd of Thomaston, Ga., was the best man. Groomsmen were Justin Brown of Augusta, son of the groom, and Michael Rafanan of Aiken, friend of the groom.

Carson of Aiken, the bride's dog, was the ringbearer.

Isabel Kizer of Springfield, N.J., was the flower girl.

Following a reception in Lookaway Hall, North Augusta, the couple left for a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.

They will reside in Augusta.

The bride is a graduate of Asheville Christian Academy. She is a graduate of King College with a degree in French/fine arts. She is employed by Wackenhut Services Inc.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Southgate Christian School. He is employed by Wackenhut Services Inc.
