WARRENVILLE -- Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, Mrs. Myrtle May Leopard, 89, of Warrenville, widow of the late Hubert S. Leopard and daughter of the late Joe B. May and the late Cora Atkinson May. She is survived by daughters, Ellen Riportella of Graniteville, Faye (Graham) Wright of North Augusta and Cora (Bunny) Greenhill of Aiken; an adopted son, William J. Leopard of Augusta; a sister, Deloris Leddon of Marshall, Texas; and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Hubert T. (H.T.) Leopard. She had been a resident of Aiken County for the past 70 years. She was a member of Warrenville First Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all whose lives she touched. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Zawislak officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials, in Mrs. Leopard's honor, may be made to Regency Hospice, 105 Summerwood Way, Suite D, Aiken, SC 29803 or to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
