Joseph Kesler "Joey" Kneece Jr., 33, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Montmorenci Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Hardy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Warren Timmerman, Tiger Kneece, Clif Hall, Barry Fitzgerald, Heze Kneece and Mickey Scruggs.
Joey was born in Aiken, a son of Joseph Kesler (Barbara) Kneece Sr., and Georgia Stallings Hill, both of Aiken. He was a professional polo player and farmer, a member of the U.S. Polo Association, former member of Aiken Polo Club and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and Cedar Creek Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, June Kneece Snipes of Aiken; a stepsister, Holly Hall of Aiken; stepbrother, Clif Hall of Aiken.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joe Lee Hill; stepbrother, Erik Hall; maternal grandparents, J.B. and June Stallings of Williston; and paternal grandparents, Eugene H. Kneece and Delores Kneece Thomas.
Memorials may be directed to his nieces, Education Fund for Rose and Emma Snipes, P.O. Box 98, Montmorenci, SC 29839.
