Burnett - Earnhardt

Ashley Ann Earnhardt of Spartanburg and Richard Martin Burnett of Aiken were married May 3, 2008, at First Baptist Church, Edgefield. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Claude O'Dell Earnhardt II. Dr. Anthony D. Hopkins of Greenwood and the Rev. Stacy L. Williams of Edgefield officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Drew Gregory Jarrell of Inman and Mr. and Mrs. Claude O'Dell Earnhardt II of Duncan.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Lee Burnett of Edgefield.
Audrey Elizabeth Earnhardt of Duncan, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Anna Brady of Charlotte, N.C., friend of the bride; Angie Barnett of Gaffney, sister-in-law of the groom; Keri McGee of Aiken, friend of the couple; Ester Patterson of Aiken, friend of the couple; Sara Beth Thompson of Greenville, friend of the bride; and Ashley Thornton of Pauline, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Jana Burnett of Gaffney, niece of the groom.
Carroll L. Burnett of Edgefield, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Bartley of Columbia, friend of the groom; Byron Burnett of Gaffney, brother of the groom; Thomas Osborne of Greer, friend of the groom; Donald Patterson of Aiken, friend of the couple; William Timmerman of Greenwood, friend of the groom; and Cannon Wooten of Greenwood, friend of the groom. Junior groomsman was Andrew Earnhardt of Duncan, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Christian Earnhardt and Clark Earnhardt, both of Duncan and both brothers of the bride.
Luke Earnhardt of Duncan, brother of the bride, was the ringbearer.
Carlee Burnett of Gaffney, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Music was provided by Mr. Josh Edwards of North Augusta, organist; Mrs. Joanne Painter of Edgefield, pianist; and Mrs. Carol Hopkins of Greenwood, soloist. Ms. Luann Bryant of Spartanburg served as wedding director. Ms. Carole Chidley of Edgefield was the bell ringer.
Following a reception at Oakley Park, Edgefield, the couple left for a wedding trip to Disney World.
The couple will reside in Aiken.
The bride is a graduate of Duncan High School. She attended Lander University, USC Upstate and Spartanburg Community College. She plans to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting at USC Aiken. She is employed by Earnhardt and Sons, Inc.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He is a graduate of Lander University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He is employed by S.C. DHEC.
