Mrs. Roxie Elizabeth Patten Jackson of 532 Hampton Ave. passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home.
A native of Aiken, she lived in New York for the majority of her life, after graduating from Martha Schofield High School in the class of 1962. She moved back to Aiken 10 years ago.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Melinda (Leo) Idehen of Charlotte, N.C., Stephanie Patten and her fiancé, Victor Murial Jr., both of Irvington, N.J., and Hester Jackson of Aiken; five sisters, Thelma Long and Joretha Davis, both of Aiken, Myrtis Williams of Edgefield, S.C., Annie Watkins of Trenton, S.C., and Mary Lee Williams of Johnston, S.C.; four brothers, Alvin Patten, Calvin Patten, Edward Patten and Elester Patten, all of Aiken; four grandchildren, Adria Jean Patten, Adrian Parker Jr., Nosaze Idehen and Izore Idehen; one aunt, Sarah Martin of Graniteville, S.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 14, 2008, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
