CONTEST: My mom is awesome
Draw a picture to show us why your mom is awesome! There are 3 great prizes listed below. Each winner will also receive two tickets to the Taste of Home Cooking School on May 12. The contest is sponsored by Floyd Green and the Aiken Standard. Submit your entry by 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.
Age 5 or younger: John Hardy bamboo silver medium hoop earrings with honey citrine from Floyd & Green two tickets to the Spring Fling & Taste of Home Cooking Show on Thursday, May 12.
Ages 6-8: An Ice Watch in classic pastel blue from Floyd & Green and two tickets to the Spring Fling & Taste of Home Cooking Show on Thursday, May 12.
Ages 9-12: a pair of Honra dangle earrings in sterling silver with violet and lilac freshwater pearls and two tickets to the Spring Fling & Taste of Home Cooking Show on Thursday, May 12.
Rules: One entry per child. All information must be included. Entries become the property of the Aiken Standard and cannot be returned. Some drawings will be posted on www.aikenstandard.com and in the Aiken Standard. The winners in each age group (5 or younger, 6-8 and 9-12) will be selected by random drawing and will be announced and printed in the May 8 Aiken Standard. Each winner will receive two tickets to the Taste of Home Cooking School on May 12 as well as jewelry from Floyd & Green. Drawings should be done with pencils, crayons, markers or paint and should not include attached items. Entry forms can be cut out of the newspaper or printed online at www.aikenstandard.com. Drawings can be mailed to Aiken Standard, 326 Rutland Drive N.W., Aiken, SC, 29802, dropped off at the Aiken Standard office weekdays during normal business hours or emailed to awilliamson@aikenstandard.com. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.
