Three charged with selling prescription drugs
North Augusta Public Safety narcotics officers have arrested three Windsor residents on allegations they were selling prescription drugs.
Working with an undercover confidential informant, narcotics officers arrested two men and a woman Wednesday who are suspected of selling prescription drugs, said Lt. Tim Thornton, a spokesman for North Augusta Public Safety.
Narcotic detectives performed what is called a "controlled buy," using the informant to purchase prescription drugs from individuals known to sell illegal drugs, he said.
After the purchase was made, the three suspects were immediately arrested and held at Public Safety, according to officials.
John Andrew Finch, 34, of Windsor is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance within proximity of a park.

Mark Steven Reed, 53, of Windsor is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance within proximity of a park and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The street value of drugs seized is estimated at $1,000.
