Court roundup for Monday, Jan. 9
•Nicholas Martin, 33, of Wagener Road in Aiken, pleaded guilty to DUI fourth offense and was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended to one year, which he will serve under house arrest with Christ Central in Wagener.
• Erica Richardson, 30, of Horseshoe Bend Road in Aiken, pleaded guilty to ingesting cocaine during her third trimester of pregnancy. Richardson was sentenced to 18 months in prison suspended to probation for two years after she tested positive for cocaine use in March and April. Her baby, who was born in late May, is doing well, according to court testimony, but is not currently in her custody.
• Myron Williams, 27, of Clinton Street in Barnwell, pleaded guilty to two counts of lewd act on a minor for performing sexual acts on two girls and one boy between the ages of 2 and 5. Williams was sentenced to 15 years for each count of lewd act on a minor, which will run concurrently. One count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor was not pursued.
• Tara Harlow, 39, of Woodlake Drive in Aiken, pleaded guilty to passing drugs to an inmate jailed on a family court warrant at the Aiken County detention center by pasting the drugs beneath the postage stamps. Harlow, who was charged with one count of contraband in a detention facility and one count of distribution of a Schedule III controlled substance, was sentenced to six months in prison suspended to one year of probation for each, to run concurrently. The drug was a nonaddictive methadone substitute, according to court testimony, and is in the form of a thin strip.
