Entered into rest Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, Mr. James William Johnson, age 27, of Aiken, S.C., loving son of Joy Johnson Paradise of Nashua, N.H., and the late J.W. Blume. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Lyn Rash of Aiken, S.C., and his godparents, Donald and Wanda Cook of Beech Island. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a graduate of Midland Valley High School, Class of 2000, and was a U.S. Marine Pfc. graduate. He was employed by Todd's Convenience Store in Beech Island, S.C. He had a winning personality, which yielded him many friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all whose lives he touched; however, life for James has not ended but has only begun. A celebration of his life will be conducted Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Satcher officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829
