Births for Jan. 11
Dylan and Toni B. Hewitt of Fayetteville, N.C., announce the birth of their daughter, Madeline Rebekah Hewitt, born Nov. 21, 2008, at a home water birth attended by a midwife.
Maternal grandparents are Tom and Sally Frazier of Aiken and Mike and Sandy Berry of Aiken. Great-grandparents are France McGee of Vaucluse and Earl Berry of Troutman, N.C.
Paternal grandparents are Scott and Alice Blair of New Ellenton and Ken Black of New Ellenton. Great-grandparents are Lilas Franklin of New Ellenton, Claude and Virginia Blair of New Ellenton and June Black of New Ellenton.
The baby has four siblings: Zachary, age 7; Jacob, age 6; Landen, age 4 and Sydney, age 1. Madeline weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces and was 21.25 inches long.
Krystal Griffin and Richard L. Satterwhite of Aiken announce the birth of their daughter, Zamariah La'Shay Griffin, born Dec. 3 2008, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Grandparents are Rochelle and Adgie Griffin of Johnston.
The baby has a sibling, Ka'Najah Griffin, age 4. She weighed 8 pounds, 15.4 ounces and was 22 inches long. She was born at 6:04 p.m. and is a very special little princess.
