Lifeway Christian Resources is slated to simulcast well-known Bible teacher and best-selling author Beth Moore from Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Sept. 13. Second Provide Baptist Church, 1202 Old Edgefield Road, is serving as a host location for the North Augusta area.
Living Proof Live, sponsored by the Nashville-based publishing company, will feature Moore’s dynamic storytelling and passionate Bible teaching.
“Beth’s teaching is some of the most profound I’ve ever heard,” Kim Trobee, associate pastor to women at New Life Church in Colorado, said. “Her knowledge of the word and passionate delivery never fail to get right to the heart of the matter.”
The event both challenges and encourages women to grow deeply in their faith. The event will broadcast to 250,000 women around the world.
“I have served in women’s ministry for over 20 years now, and there is just no other event like Living Proof Live,” women’s ministry leader Missy Kintzel said. “It is one event our women do not want to miss.”
Moore has authored dozens of published Bible studies, books and devotionals specifically for women for nearly two decades. Her newest study, Children of the Day: 1 & 2 Thessalonians (released on May 1), is a Bible study that equips women to let the light of Christ shine brightly. Moore’s organization, Living Proof Ministries, is based out of Houston.
Dove award-winning musical artist Travis Cottrell, who also serves as worship pastor of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee, is slated to lead worship for the event.
The simulcast will kick off on at 9:30 a.m. and end at 4:15 p.m. The registration fee is $20, and covers one full day of music and worship; sessions led by Moore; and opportunities for fellowship with other women from the North Augusta community. Women can register at www.secondprovidence.com.
