According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 43-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Wednesday after he was pulled over on East Pine Log Road for driving erratically. The man smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication. He was arrested after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

An unknown man tried to purchase several items at a store on Pine Log Road on Wednesday using a counterfeit $100 bill.

An air conditioner unit was reported stolen from a home on Cherokee Street on Wednesday.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Hickory Ridge Road and Cardinal Drive.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An Aiken woman reported on Wednesday that an unknown man took a bag of medication from her while she was standing in her front yard on Ward Circle.

A 54-year-old Warrenville man was detained for criminal domestic violence on Wednesday after he punched his wife in the face.

Weed eaters were reported stolen from a home on Albert Lane in Aiken on Wednesday.

Burglaries were reported on Pine Log Road in Beech Island, Apache Drive in North Augusta, Cato Road in Warrenville, Wagener Road in Montmorenci and Columbia Highway in Aiken.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Highpointe Drive in Beech Island, Arbor Court in Aiken, Ascauga Lake Road in Graniteville, Shetland Drive in Jackson, Elton Avenue in North Augusta and Ridgemont Drive in Aiken.
